ohmTown Gazette
This is the official newspaper of ohmTown. We just launched, officially, 3 days ago (March 5th, 2010). And already felt the location of the town was a bit awkward. So, we moved it. You might notice that directions to one place will have a /blog/ location, but we automatically redirect you to a non-blog spot. It works without anyone having to do much work.
We currently have 2000 applications in ohmTown for people to review and rate and make comments about. We should be able to get upwards of 10,000 without much problem on this end. After that, developers that haven’t touched their application in awhile may feel the urge to update their products. Out with the old, in with the new. That is a good saying here at ohmTown.
Hmm.. maybe not. I’m feeling a bit old myself.
NEWS:
As of February, ohmTown.com is 10 years old. Wow, time flies when you own a domain and don’t do much with it, relocate constantly, and have 100 projects in the works. Anyway, I’m pretty happy to say that ohmTown has been online in one form or another for 10 years. Usually just a holding page with some random comment, ohmTown has finally found its true calling. As a social network for rating and reviewing AppStore applications. I don’t advertise the site, so if you stop by and think others might like the site, feel free to tell a friend.
Anyway, we’ll keep updating this page periodically with news that is important to citizens of ohmTown.
