    Welcome to RPGamer’s new release round-up. In this column we look to provide our readers with details on all of the RPGs released over the week. Please note we do not currently include Early Access releases.

    Always Sometimes Monsters

    Always Sometimes Monsters is a choice-driven narrative-focused title originally released for PC in 2014. The game follows a struggling author who sets out on cross-country journey to try and win their beloved back. A sequel, Sometimes Always Monsters, is currently available on PC.     Aron’s Adventure

    Aron’s Adventure is an action adventure RPG set in the fantasy world of Elor. Players control young hero Aron as he seeks to stop a reawakened ancient evil. Players have access to bows and an assortment of melee weapon types as they progress through multiple regions including sidequests and puzzles.

    Don’t Give Up: A Cynical Tale

    Don’t Give Up: A Cynical Tale is a pixel-graphic comedic RPG and was originally released for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2019. The game has themes around mental illness and follows a game developer that becomes involved with manifestations of their inner demons. It features no random encounters and a real-time combat system that switches between player and enemy advantages.

    The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV

    Platform: PC, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia (previously released on PlayStation 4)

    The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV was originally released for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in October 2020. The game directly follows the events of Trails of Cold Steel III, and concludes the Cold Steel subseries.     Viking Vengeance

    Viking Vengeance is a rogue-lite action dungeon-crawler. Players control a Templar who rediscovers his pagan origins and learns to wield the powers of the Norse gods. By praying to and bringing sacrifices for the gods, players can unlock new fighting skills and blessings.

    War Theatre

    Platform: PlayStation 5 (previously released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)

    Price: $4.99

    Though labelled as War Theatre 2: Blood of Winter, this release is a bundle of the original War Theatre and its DLC sequel Blood of Winter. The game is a turn-based strategy title.
