    Dark Winds season 3 has been renewed at AMC. Based on the books by Tony Hillerman, the series was created for television by Graham Roland and follows two Navajo police officers, Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) and Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon), whose spiritual beliefs are challenged as they investigate a double murder case in the Southwest during the 1970s. The Dark Winds cast also includes Jessica Matten, Deanna Allison, The Office‘s Rainn Wilson, Elva Guerra, and Noah Emmerich.
